System Review Report on the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, Report Number 10-6-003
SIGIR is proud to announce that it has passed the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency-mandated external peer review of its system of quality control without any deficiencies. Government Auditing Standards requires that each audit organization performing audits in accordance with these standards establish a system of quality control that is designed to provide reasonable assurance that the organization and its personnel comply with professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Each audit organization is required to have an external peer review at least once every 3 years. SIGIR's peer review was conducted by the National Science Foundation's Office of Inspector General for the year ending July 31, 2009.
